Easy Scan & Sign is built so your documents stay yours. There is no account and no backend of ours that stores your files. This page explains, in plain language, what that means.

Your documents stay on your device

The documents you scan or import, the text recognized from them, and your saved signatures and initials are stored on your iPhone. They never leave the device and go to us. If you turn on iCloud sync (a Pro feature), they sync through your own iCloud account — not to any server we control.

The camera

The camera is used only to scan documents. Photos you scan become pages in your own library.

What we never collect

We never collect your document titles, document text, file names, recognized (OCR) text, signature images, or email recipients. Nothing you sign or fill is sent to us.

Analytics

The app sends anonymous product-usage events (PostHog) — for example, which features get opened — so we can see what's useful and improve the app. These events use an anonymous identifier and contain no personal information and none of your document content. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Analytics.

Crash and performance data, if you've opted into sharing it with app developers, reaches us through Apple's own Xcode Organizer and MetricKit — not through a third-party crash or analytics SDK.

There are no ads, no advertising identifiers (IDFA), and no third-party tracking SDKs, so the app does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

This website

easyscansign.com itself sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. It's a set of static pages.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We record anonymous purchase events (for example, which plan was bought) for analytics, but we do not receive your payment details.

App Store privacy labels

In App Store terms, the app collects Data Not Linked to You — product interaction (analytics) and purchase history (purchase events), plus crash and performance diagnostics if enabled. It does not collect data used to track you, and it does not collect your documents.
